![]() It seems that Imap implementation by Microsoft may not be compatible 100% with all cases - to be fair, Microsoft is not especially interested in Imap (they are pushing their own proprietary protocol) and Imap is very complicated. I won't provide you with URLs I found of messages a quick search found on the subject (this forum is really annoying as any post with an URL has to be approved and it don't appear before a long delay), but the messages were not all concerning Thunderbird. I am reasonably sure that there are thousands of other users of Thunderbird with Microsoft servers. I have (mostly for test reasons) an outlook mail address and have never seen this problem. Most mail providers don't care about third party software and Microsoft is not even the worst in this department. I would expect more users facing this "error" or am I the only one using a outlook mail address together with TB? It's annoying that Microsoft (outlook) isn't the best friend of TB.
